You can find hundreds of “best motorcycle routes in Europe” online.
Most of them are correct. Individually.
That’s not the issue.
The problem is that they don’t connect.
They’re isolated highlights, often ridden at the wrong time, in the wrong conditions, for the wrong reasons.
A mountain pass at midday in peak season is a completely different experience from the same pass early morning or late afternoon.
Traffic changes it. Temperature changes it. Even the direction you ride it changes it.
Navigation systems don’t account for any of that.They optimise for speed or distance.
They don’t understand rhythm.
And rhythm is what makes a journey.
Between Switzerland, Northern Italy and the Riviera, there are endless possible combinations.
Very few of them actually work as a sequence.
That’s where experience comes in.
Not in knowing a road, but in knowing when to use it - and what should come before and after it.
Altitude into open space.Intensity into release. Technical into effortless.
